Born 1962, studied art history, modern german literature and christian archeology at Freie Universität Berlin and Bonn University
1992–1994 Curatorial Assistant at National Museums Prussian Heritage Foundation
1993–1999 visiting lecturer at Freie Universität Berlin
1998/99 postdoctoral fellow at the postgraduate programme "Kunstwissenschaft - Bauforschung - Denkmalpflege" of the Universities of Bamberg and TU Berlin
1999–2005 so-called Hochschulassistent (comparable to assistant professor) at Technical University Berlin
2002–2007 architectural editor at “Kunst und Kirche”
February 2005 habilitation
Since april 2005 assistant professor and since May 2010 adjunct professor at the Technical University Berlin
Since December 2009 chairwoman of State Monument Preservation Council (Landesdenkmalrat) of the Federal State of Berlin
